What Google publishes, and what it does not
It is a fair question and a hard one to get answered. The standard version costs nothing to get started with. The enterprise version has no public price list: the upgrade is made by an organisation or billing administrator, or by a sales partner, and the amount appears only in the contract.
That is why the figures circulating online vary so widely. We do not repeat them here, because we cannot verify them. What we can state is what our own measurement costs, and that figure is in the table above.
The cost that never reaches an invoice
A free tool can still cost you. Three items are worth counting before you compare price tags:
- The visitors behind the consent banner. Cookie-based measurement requires consent. Those who decline are never counted, and the gap is filled afterwards with modelled estimates. Our traffic logging sets no cookies, so every visit is counted. How cookie-free measurement works
- The hours spent on setup. A consent platform, conversion goals and channel groupings take time to get right. With us, installation is a 3 KB script tag.
- The interpretation afterwards. Numbers without a conclusion rarely turn into action. Our 56 analysis rules run every night and write, in your own language, what happened and what to do about it.
